On Saturday 9 May 2020 the Museum of Women’s Culture Regional-International is virtually opening the exhibition “Technology#Female#Logical. Women and technology in the Nuremberg metropolitan area.”

The virtual exhibition opening takes place at 11:00 on  instagramfacebookyoutube and twitter.

This is a very relevant topic as girls and young women are increasingly encouraged to turn to an education in engineering and technology. Our exhibition will feature distinguished female pioneers from the metropolitan region as well as women who currently hold positions in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and technical trade. Despite the international Corona crisis, we have experienced wonderful things in recent weeks.

Over 500 people have participated in our crowdfunding project. This makes it possible to implement a heart-felt project in the context of our exhibition “BIRTH CULTURE giving birth and being born”.

  • Mexican Federation of University Women (FEMU) and Mexico City’s Women’s Museum (MCWM) participated in the march organized by different groups of activists to demand respect for women’s Human Rights, Substantive Equality and Justice. Around 100,000 people, mainly women, took part.
