Membership

There are three types of memberships in IAWM. To become a member, download and complete the Membership form and return it by email to info@iawm.international.

Women’s and Gender Museums that cannot afford the full membership fee may ask for a reduction and explain the reasons. Reductions are granted at the discretion of IAWM.

Museums - 200 € ($245) per year

For physical and virtual museums. Members receive:

  • Increased visibility for your museum to the public and other professionals.
  • Opportunity to attend our conferences and symposiums.
  • Opportunity to participate in collaborative projects with fellow members.
  • Opportunity to publish news about your work to the network via our newsletter.

Affiliated Initiatives - 50 € (65 $) per year

For initiatives that seek to establish new museums or for gender-oriented organizations or associations that support women’s museums in their region. Members receive:

  • Connection with all member museums across five continents.
  • Opportunity to attend our conferences and symposiums.
  • Exchange ideas to support your initiative.
  • Opportunity to participate in collaborative projects with fellow members.
  • E-newsletter.

For individual scholars and museum practitioners. Members receive:

  • E-newsletter.
  • Opportunity to attend our conferences and symposiums.
