Ein Komponistinnen* Festival erzählt und lässt aufhorchen

Wien, 1777: Die seit früher Kindheit blinde Komponistin, Pianistin und Sängerin Maria Theresia Paradis (Maria Dragus), genannt Resi, soll von Franz Anton Mesmer (Devid Striesow) geheilt werden. Mesmer ist der berühmteste und umstrittenste Arzt seiner Zeit. Es gelingt ihm, ihr das Augenlicht wiederzugeben. Dabei verliert aber die junge Musikerin ihre künstlerische Gabe. Resi muss sich entscheiden, ob sie lieber ein blindes Musikgenie oder eine sehende Normalsterbliche sein möchte.
