Closed but active – Frauenmuseum Hittisau

Dec 25, 2020

In challenging times, women’s museums are resilient and responding…

Closed but active – with this motto in mind Frauenmuseum Hittisau is dealing with the current Covid-19 situation.

Blog: Strong women. strong stories.

They are heroines of everyday life, artists or brave role models fighting for a better world. During Austria’s second lockdown Frauenmuseum Hittisau relaunched its blog on inspiring women.

All of these women give hope and inspire – especially in challenging times. Join Frauenmuseum Hittisau as it explores the lives of extraordinary women on its blog strong women. strong stories.

During the third lockdown we will also continue with sharing our stories on women. This offers an opportunity to stay in touch with our visitors.

Orange the world in 16 days

Frauenmuseum Hittisau also participated in the UN campaign against gender-based violence. For a duration of 16 days, the museum’s front window was lit up in an orange circle.
