Call for applications: Adolescent Girls Advisory Council

Oct 14, 2019

On occasion of International Day of the Girl Child Global Fund for Women celebrates girls’ incredible power and leadership.

The Adolescent Girls Advisory Council call for applications has now officially been launched and can be found on the Global Fund for Women homepage here.

Global Fund for Women is inviting adolescent girls from current priority regions namely the Caribbean, the Middle East and North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa to apply. The plan is to identify nine girl advisors who will join the Council.

The girl advisors will play a critical role in helping Global Fund for Women shape their adolescent girls’ rights strategy and they look forward to piloting a participatory grantmaking model where the girls will meaningfully participate in decision-making. The nine girl advisors will be instrumental in finding, funding and amplifying girl-led groups and movements. Deadline for applications is November 4, 2019.

Applications forms are available in Arabic, English, French and Spanish.
